Every time I pick up Emma Hart’s books I know for a fact that I’m just going to love them, she has a unique way of telling stories and honestly I can never get enough of her humor. Yet again, she pulled it out of the bag and delivered another incredible read, plus this one felt a lot more realistic due to how clumsy Mallory could be… I think that Emma read hit everything she could to make this book perfection. I honestly enjoyed reading it and thought Mallory was hilarious, plus her humor and wit was pretty incredible, Emma had me laughing throughout the book with half of the events that happened. I honestly couldn’t fault this book, although I wish there was more. Emma really knows how to get a girl hooked on her books, and that’s exactly what I am. I am looking forward to catching up on all of her other books she’s written and I’m excited to see what else she can cook up because honestly Emma is one talented writer and I know that if she keeps going the way she is, she will only keep doing well. I would highly recommend that if you’ve not read any of Emma’s books that you do as she knows how to pick your mood right back up if you’re not having a good day or are just looking for a book to make you laugh.
Mallory is currently living with her parents, looking for a new job and just about surviving. You’d think that her being back with her parents that they would love it that their child is back home in the nest….. Well, that would be a normal family… However, Mallory’s is a completely different lot altogether. You wouldn’t exactly call a family normal if you’ve got to put an alarm on the Alexia 10 minutes before you get back just so that your parents have enough time to get fully clothed because the last thing you want to see is them having sex….. Well, that’s one of the reasons that Mallory is so anxious to get out of there…. Mallory accidently set a fire at her old place, so she had to move back in with her parents and she lost her job due to the company closing down. But with so many interviews currently not going in her favour, she’s hoping to secure this current one she’s interviewed for, however noticing that you’ve gotten a pair of panties stuck to your trousers part way through isn’t exactly a good impression to leave…. But shockingly for her, she ends up getting the job, the only problem she has is that her boss looks vaguely familiar and she’s hoping that he doesn’t remember her considering he did almost run her over. Will Mallory be able to keep the job considering she’s a walking disaster and will her new boss recognise her?
