Being honest it would have been a good idea to have started this series with the first book, however sometimes things just don’t work that way. Either way, I am just glad to have gotten to read this series and explore a brand new author to me. Q.B. Tyler’s work is incredible and I find myself not wanting to put any of her books down, I was so happy that I got to read this book as you get to find out all about Skyler (Serena’s sister but you’ll find more out about Serena in Second Semester), and it’s interesting to see how outgoing she is when it comes to life. Being honest there was nothing that I could fault with this book, the writing was incredible, I loved the plot and I was completely hooked until the very end. The characters were just as charming as the story and being honest, I wouldn’t mind my very own Aiden when it came to how he treats the girls in the bedroom. That being said, I can’t wait to see what else the lovely Q.B. comes up with, you should seriously check out her work if you’ve not already done so.
Skyler is a smart girl, loves adventure and is a girl who likes to live on the wild side. With just having her heart broken a few months back, she is now off to College, thanks to her loving parents. Luckily for her, it’s a few hours drive, so she doesn’t need to worry about her parents turning up. First night being in a new town, she ends up getting dragged to go out clubbing with her new neighbour, and after being invited to this dating app that most of the college kids use (per invitation), she ends up meeting this incredible guy. Little do either of them realise that they are keeping a kind of small but MASSIVE secret from each other, which could have repercussions for the two of them.
