I honestly don’t know how I feel after reading this book because Lyssa Cole has my emotions all over the place. She has done an amazing job at continuing with this series and whilst I thought the first book was powerful, nope… this one holds that a hell of a lot more. With each book Lyssa writes, her writing grows and you can see the talent that lies within the words flowing. This book had everything you could ask for with a book, the drama, the love, the heat, the tension, even the heartfelt moments. There’s so much happening with this book and I even connected with Dean on a personal level. Rai goes through so much in this book and you can’t help but feel for her, all she wants is to be happy, have Levi get the helps he needs and actually succeed in achieving her dream…. But as we all know life isn’t that simple and sometimes the right people (Dean) step into our lives when you least expect it. But no one knows how long they are there for and how long it’ll be until you have to actually start finding things on your own. This book teaches a lot and it’s just overpowering but perfect at the same time. Life is never easy and I know that everyone has their own views on life, but we have to make do with what we have before things are too late.
I honestly can’t wait to see how things play out in the next book because right now Rai has no idea what to do and with the possibility of things looking up for the first time in a while, things are bound to be electric….
I would recommend this series because it’s just incredible, there are literally no words to describe this book, but if you’re a crier, be sure to have tissues on hand…. You’ll need them.
Rai is so broken after having walked out from Levi, all she wanted was for him to get help because she didn’t want anything to happen to him… however instead of him realising that he needs it, he lashed out and now she’s broken both of their hearts. The last thing she wanted was to lose him, but right now that’s the reality of it. With the help of her friend (Maple) she does everything she can to help move forward and the last thing she expected was to meet Dean…. He’s kind, caring and pretty much anything you could ask for… but at the same time she still feels like something is missing. With Dean willing to put everything he can to help her and be there for her, will it be worth it or are they both set to get hurt???
When Levi ever recover and be able to win back Rai or is that over for good? Will he have lost the one girl he can’t get out of his mind???
