If you’ve picked up the first two books in this series then you’ll know that they’re about Emme and Maren, they’re both sisters and are pretty close. However, this book is all about their eldest sister, Stella. She’s a lot different to the other two, but you can see that underneath she’s just a hopeless romantic who just wants to be loved. I loved that Melanie has gone ahead and decided to tell a story about each sister, however if you read them in order you’ll see that they all tie in together and that they carry on as if time never stopped, but it’s just from different perspectives. I found it to be such an awesome read and I couldn’t stop reading from the minute I picked it up. This book was a lot different to the others, but I thought that it worked pretty well, I actually couldn’t find any faults with it at all. Seriously, if you’ve not picked up this series, then you need to go and change that.
Stella has always been a bit of a goody goody when it comes to following the rules and doing what’s best for her. She’s such a smart girl and is doing her dream job, she’s got a boyfriend with who she is content with. The only thing that’s missing is that she hasn’t got a ring on her finger and that she hasn’t started moving along when it comes to starting a family. Whilst she’s happy with how life is, there is something missing that she can’t quite put her finger on.
What starts off as being such an amazing day on her birthday, it ends up turning into the worst one ever. Thinking that her boyfriend is on the same page as her and is ready to take their relationship to the next level, she ends up getting the worst shock of all….. With him leaving her for another woman, Stella needs time to process everything and what better luck than her nan needing her? Little does she know that her nan is up to something…. Will Stella’s life be the same after the trip she goes on?
