After reading All About The D by both of these authors, I wasn’t sure what to expect from them as I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book. However, after reading this one I may have to go back and reread All About The D as I may have been in a book funk, so I’d be happy to go back and give it another chance. This one was pretty incredible and I did enjoy reading it, however the one thing I did find to get to me at times was that I felt that the sex scenes went on for a quite a while at times. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for reading about how hot and good the sex is in stories, but truthfully, sometimes when your reading these type of scenes they can tend to go on for a bit longer than necessary. I get that it’s an important part to the story, but sometimes it just felt like there was too much of it. But other than that, I did enjoy how the story progressed and I loved the characters, they were well suited to one another. If both Lex and Leslie have another book planned, then I would be interested in reading it as their writing is quite interesting.
Kendall is a smart and clever girl, she knows what she wants out of life and is doing pretty well with her own PR firm. The only thing she doesn’t have is a hot guy in her life who is keeping her warm at night, but with her busy work schedule she doesn’t have time for relationships, if anything she’s more content on letting loose once a week as that should satisfy her needs. However, after waking up the next morning after her one night stand, the last person she expects to walk into is her number one enemy…. Drew. Ever since they’ve known each other, she’s not been able to stand the sight of him, he’s rude, inconsiderate of anyone other than himself and pretty much loves being drunk and doing drugs. She’s not seen him in a while as she tries to keep out of his way, but there’s something different about him and she’s quite impressed….. that is until he opens his mouth… Little does she realise that Drew is a changed guy and he’s hiding a lot of secrets of his own…
