An amazing group of authors have come together to bring us such an amazing collection of stories and honestly I think that the authors have done an amazing job. There are two authors stories that stand out to me the most and they are Claire Marta and Abriaana Denae, I honestly thought that they both did an incredible job and I loved reading their stories. They both have such different styles of writing, but they are both equally as cruel when it comes to their characters. I am so happy that I was able to read their stories and I’m expecting lots more things to come from them both. I honestly couldn’t fault either of their stories, I just wanted more from them.
Overall, I think that this anthology was an amazing idea and all the authors deserve praise for their contribution.
Abrianna’s story was filled with so many emotions and you can’t help but feel for both Ryson and Jack, they are such interesting characters and I enjoyed getting to know their story, or the start of their journey.
Ryson is good guy, he has his job at the coffee shop where he works, and whilst his brothers tend to give him a hard time about how he’s not so charitable, the one good deed that he does, (which involves rescuing Jack from out behind the coffee shop) it seems to spark trouble for him and his brothers, but his head was telling him that he needed to do this. There’s the unknown of where Jack has come from and it’s clear it’s not from this time, but that doesn’t stop Ryson from doing all he came by providing him somewhere to stay… But there are secrets that neither Ryson or his brothers know of, but what will happen when the time comes for when they are revealed?
Claire’s story is an intriguing one, one which will leave you wondering what’s happening, it’s not until a little while later everything clicks into place… However, it was worth the wait to figure out what was truly happening.
Robin has no idea where she is, but she knows for a fact that she’s nowhere where she should actually be. It’s clear that somethings happened, but with only knowing what her name is, she has no idea what’s going on….. She ends up stumbling upon a house as she’s seeking shelter from the pouring rain… However, with the rude welcoming from Morpheus she’s got no idea what to do… Will she find a way to survive or even get back to where she is meant to be?
