This is the second book of Abrianna Denae’s that I’ve read and I’m honestly shocked by the talent that she has. I was honestly touched with the words that was written in this book, she reached a whole new level and the message she put out there was incredible. I love how her characters gave us the message that it’s okay to be different, whether that be because we have a medical problem or just that we take things in differently than others, it shouldn’t change who we are and that we should still be able to live a normal life as much as we can. This story was so heart-warming and emotional that you can’t help but fall in love with Garrett and Presley, they have so much going for them, but at the same time their own fears play on their mind.
I honestly can’t fault this book or the writing, and I would highly recommend that people give it a read, it will reach out to readers in so many ways… but I’d advise having tissues at the ready in case you tend to cry at books.
Garrett has never lived a normal life and with him constantly being in and out of hospital, his father tends to worry about him and his health. When Garrett is out on one of the afternoons because he got fed up of being inside all the time and needing to be on guard when all he wants to do is be like everyone else, he happens to bump into this charming guy Presley… But little does he realise that there’s more to Presley than he realises. Will both of them go ahead with making friends and be able to reveal their inner battles to each other???
