I honestly have no idea how many more twists and turns Addison Moore can keep throwing at us when it comes to this series, I’m so invested in the story and the characters, that I just have no idea what to expect from Addison anymore. She has done such an incredible job at keeping me hooked with each book and I am glad that there is more to keep going. I am seriously in love with her work and I’m excited to see where Lottie ends up in the end. Addison has done another amazing job with this book and I honestly had no idea how things would progress, but she managed to pull out all the stop and keep the plot interesting and engaging. I’m really excited to see what happens next, I do love Noah and Essex, but seriously I want to punch Cormack and maybe a few others. I seriously hope that things work out in the end for Lottie because she is such a sweet character and I love her to pieces.
Lottie is working extra crazy hard than normal, as during the lead up to Christmas, things tend to get a little busy and hectic. Whilst she’s catering for all parties and events, she’s still trying to keep her secret of the fact her and Noah are no longer married and they aren’t having a child together… So you can imagine the stress she’s under. However, whilst it seems that life doesn’t want to give her a break, she ends up finding another body and landing herself into finding out who the killer is, but what makes this case so special is that it opens up a cold case from years prior. Will Lottie be able to get the truth and be able to keep her secret from Noah until the time is right or is everything set to fall apart, so far she’s been lucky, but maybe this time she won’t.
