I seriously loved reading all about Darren and Melody back in the first book, I thought that JP. Uvalle captured their story perfectly, so I was excited to give this book a read. Honestly, I think that she did a really good job at bringing these characters back and I loved reading about them. I think that JP did a great job at writing another fast paced, short story as I know from my opinion it can tend to be hit or miss, but she’s still managing to get the right balance. I couldn’t fault the story, I loved getting to see how things were progressing between both characters because everything had literally just gone at a whirlwinds pace, but I could also see why Melody had her doubts about a few things. Overall, I think that JP has done a good job and I’m excited to read what else she writes.
Melody has just married the guy of her dreams, she never thought that she would get the happy ever after ending that she had always dreamed of with Darren… However, Darren, life and her mom had other plans…. Now she is a newly married woman and is packing up her life back home, the only home she’s ever known but doubt is starting to creep in, she has no idea if Darren really does love her, or if he is going to just hurt her again…. But the only way of knowing that is if she heads off to New York, will she do it or will she decide that married life isn’t cut out for her?
