After getting to read all three books about the Handy Men brothers, you can tell that there’s a lot more that actually goes on… as when you read Michael’s book Eli and Nick seem so calm, cocky and collective, yet when you read their stories Michael seems head on and knows what’s happening… yet in reality all three brothers have a lot going on and instead of confiding in each other, they choose to keep it to themselves and put on a front so that they don’t have to face what’s going on. The way that their stories have been written and they each follow on even though time passes between each of them I just love. I think that Rosanna Leo has done an incredible job and I love how all three brothers are so different from one another, in this book you get to see how insecure Nick really is, he has no sense of direction but he’s willing to try and work through all the fog to get somewhere in life. When he meets Claire, it’s like everything just takes a step to the side as it’s been a while for him to see someone who isn’t going to just laugh or make fun of him because of what happened with his one ex-girlfriend. She sees him as just Nick and it’s empowering for him.
I honestly couldn’t fault what happened in this book, as I said, I think that Rosanna has done a great job and she had me hooked from the very first page.
I honestly have no idea if Rosanna plans on expanding with this series or if she’s just going to leave it here, but either way I’d recommend giving it a read because these brothers are well worth the read.
I know I’m excited to see what else Rosanna writes as she’s gotten me hooked.
Nick is the youngest brother and he seems to be a ladies man, but whilst that may be the case to everyone, it’s just a front for him. Ever since his ex-girlfriend embarrassed him publicly about issues in the bedroom, he has just decided to hide away from the world unless he needs to work. But what she did, it did a really bad number on him and now he’s worried he’ll never be able to perform properly in the bedroom again.
With the possibly of the Handy Men Series coming to an end, Nick decides that as he’s the one who’s not tied down, he wants to travel with the show but under a new name and make it a little different so that it showcases him and his talents. With that possibly happening, Nick is excited as it’s something new, but when they are heading to their last renovation, everything seems to dim a little once he sees Claire…
Will Claire be the answer to Nick’s problems or will there be no going back for him??? What will happen with the new show idea for Nick, will the network agree to give it a go???
