This is my first time of reading anything by Leslie Adam, so I was pretty unsure of what to expect from her. I have heard other readers and authors recommend her work, so I thought that this book would be an interesting read. I’ve previously read some of Lex Martin’s work and thoroughly enjoyed it and I was really excited to see where this book would go. Now whilst the writing was really good, I couldn’t find myself actually getting lost into the story and fully enjoying it even though this book has really great potential. Don’t get me wrong, just because I couldn’t find myself enjoying the story very much, doesn’t mean to say that this book won’t do well or tell an amazing story as I’m sure that it will do well in both of those things, but at times you will get books that you love by authors that you just can’t seem to get into, it’s not a problem but it can sometimes happen. I’m not going to go ahead and slam the book, because honestly that would be wrong, it just wasn’t for me. Even though I wasn’t a fan of this book I would still recommend readers to go out and pick up this book.
