I just love how we get to read everything from Alex's point of view, it always makes me happy just being able to read both sides because then you can see parts that were missing and can get a feel of who the other character was feeling. I loved everything that happened in this book but just to warn you if you choose to pick up this book and read all of Alex's story in one go then it might take you a while but honestly I'd recommend you to read it in one as you'll just fall in love with it.
So anyways back to the story, I loved reading about Alex from the very first book in this series and I honestly feel for him considering he ends up kissing and being with the wrong girl from the start. However I understand that he panicked because he thought his friend was going to make a move on his girl, but the fact that he never told his friend how he felt it was his own fault. However I love the way that this story is told because Julie Prestsater knows how to engage with her audience and delivers amazing work.
Throughout the book I do feel for Alex because all he wants to do is be with the girl that he loves but the fact of being away from Meg really gets to him which leads him to do the unbearable. Meg and Alex go through such a rollercoaster of a time but whether they make it out together is another story and that I am not going to spoil for you. So trust me when I say that you will love this book, and honestly give it a try because if you've already read the first four to do with Meg then I'm pretty sure that you're going to want to know about Alex's side.
