After reading Beneath A Starlit Sky, I had no idea what to expect with this next book, but what I can say for sure is that Bella Emy really knows how to write a gripping story that will just make your heart break with each word you read. With every book of Bella’s she manages to up her game and improve on her writing even though it’s incredible already.
I’m really glad that Bella wrote a book for Misty, you get to know about her in the first book and I found that she was an interesting character, she goes through a lot and you can’t help but want things to work out for her. So I love how Bella gave us her story, she did magic with her story and if you loved Brea’s story, then you’ll want to get your hands on this beauty. Bella knows how to reach out and pull at your emotions, this time I didn’t cry at her book, but I felt all the emotions that her characters were feeling, but I’d still say for safe measures if you’re a crier at books have tissues ready just in case.
I couldn’t find any fault with the story, if anything I just wanted more. However, whilst I do love Misty and Liam, Brea will always be my favourite in this series.
If you do want to give this story a read, then it's available in the With Love From New Orleans boxset, which features many other authors.
Misty has had her own issues going on after what happened in Waverly several years ago, a lot happened and honestly things never were the same. Now she’s saving up to move out of the area because she needs a fresh new start, there’s no guy to keep her attention and all she wishes is for a new adventure. She’s not seen Brea in a while and convinces her to go away with her for Spring Break (even though she’s out of college, it doesn’t mean she can’t party hard like she did when she was), so they both pack their bags for a week and head away, but whilst they have the entire week planned to go and do crazy things, on their very first night of being away, Misty happens to bump into someone from her past, someone who she had forgotten about….. Liam.
Now that their lives have crossed and their paths have found one another, what will become of their meeting. They both deserve to be happy, but with Liam hiding a secret from her, how well will things go for them?
