After reading No Strings Attached I was really looking forward to the next book in the Pink Bean Series, however I was left disappointed with this book. Now before you get all judgemental for why I was left like this, I just want to say that the writing is superb as always. But this time I didn’t think the way that the style of it worked, the reason being that this book was told in two different perspectives and normally whilst I am able to tell who is speaking in this book it was pretty difficult, you couldn’t tell if it was Sheryl or Kristin. I found myself getting confused pretty often and I couldn’t get into the story. I honestly hate to say this but I think this is the first book where I couldn’t actually finish it, I only managed to get to about 21%, I hate it when that happens but not every book you read you will love. I’d rather be honest and say my opinion, but just because I wasn’t able to finish it doesn’t mean that this book won’t be someone else’s cup of tea. I suggest you give this book a try for yourself as even though I have voiced my opinion, it’s not mine that will decide in your head what you’ll think of this book it’s your own choice.
