I love Q.B. Tyler’s work, she knows exactly what to write to get you hooked. Yet again, she has written such a heart-warming story and I loved getting to see past characters from her books. Q.B. knows exactly what to write to get your heart racing and in this books there was lots of hot, juicy moments that you couldn’t help fell like you was there. I will never get tired of her work as it’s always exciting and different with each book she writes. Q.B.’s talent just gets better and better; she is growing as an author and I always look forward to reading her books. The plot and the characters was really good, and I loved how we got to read Lauren’s story, as back in Q.B.’s Bittersweet Duet, Lauren was a huge part of Charlotte’s life, so it was great seeing what was in store for her. I couldn’t fault this story, I enjoyed it way too much. I would suggest you giving this a read because trust me when I say it gives you all the feelings.
Lauren has been living in Chicago for the last 6 months after moving there for a great job opportunity, she was planning on having her boyfriend Drew move over and then they would start their future together….. Or so she thought.
Weeks before her best friend’s (Charlotte) wedding, Drew breaks up with her over text….. She’s so distraught that she can’t work out why he would take the cowards way out… But when her enemy offers her a proposition that she can’t help but think, what will she do? Will she give in to fate and let things play out between them, or will she choose to fight and be bitter towards him?
