I have no idea what goes on in Jessica Wayne’s mind, but she is just way too amazing when it comes to her writing. I’ve been intrigued by both Tarnley and Bronywyn since the beginning of this series as they’re so different from all the other characters, they seem so withdrawn and reserved but it’s clear that they are good people. Plus, you can’t help but wonder what their relationship is like because whilst they tolerate each other, it’s clear that there’s a connection between them that runs deep.
I can’t even find the words to describe how amazing this book was, as Jessica seriously knocks it out of the park each time, she just somehow knows how to keep you gripped with every page and again I couldn’t believe half of the events that took place.
I really do love the dynamics between them both because whilst they try to keep things professional, you get to see all the little details in this book, and you can’t help but wish for things to be okay between them. However, knowing how Jessica writes, having a sweet ending just doesn’t happen unless you’re at the very end all together, but there’s so much more to come in this series and I can’t even think of what Bronywyn and Tarnley go through, but I hope everything will be okay.
I loved everything that was in this book and am surprised at how Jessica came up with everything, but I’m super excited to see what happens next because she’s left the door wide open, and the possibilities are endless.
They had one goal…. Defeat Lucy. They thought that maybe they had the upper hand, however it got out of control and now with Bronywyn consumed by the dark magic things just got even more complicated for them.
Tarnley and all their friends are determined to help Bronywyn and help destroy the dark magic inside of her, but after killing Lucy she took off and now they’ve spent the last two months trying to find her.
But none of them expected the outcome of when she finally returned… With Tarnley on the verge of dying because he’s been unable to feed from her to help seal the bond, he’s not sure how much longer he’ll last but either way he wants to save her.
But that’s the least of their problems because whilst Bronywyn doesn’t want to be saved and having to deal with the dark magic trying to overtake her completely, the newly reformed council are also on the hunt of finding her because they want to magic.
Will they find a way to save her??? Will the council get Bronywyn??? What does this all mean for the bond between them both???
