I knew that this book was going to be different from the first three in the series and that’s due to the fact that we had only seen a glimpse of Faith in Green, yet with all the other characters from the previous books we had an insight into them in each of the books. I found Faith to be a really interesting character, I liked how just because her twin sister had all this money she wanted to get by and make a decent living by doing things her own way, for example going out and getting two jobs just so that she can get through life and be able to pay for college. I admire her for doing that as because sometimes people who come from money just use it anyway they see fit and don’t actually realise what life would be like without the money and actually thinking of others. Faith is such a caring character and puts others before her so when she first hears Logan’s voice on the phone at her one job she can’t help but feel intrigued and captivated by his voice as his accent is swoonworthy. Logan is a completely different character all together, at one point in his life he had everything going for him, he was happy with the way he looked and was happily in love…. That all changed one day though, after one fateful accident that couldn’t be helped his life changed for good. Now he is not comfortable around women and the slightest touch will make him completely free up. He doesn’t want things to be like this but he isn’t sure if he will ever find anyone who will love him for everything there is to be about him.
Whilst this book didn’t stand out and grip me as the other two did, I do have to say that this is an amazing read and that you should give it a try. Elin Peer writes such amazing stories and I fall in love with her work each and every time she releases a book.
