This is the last book in this series and I have to say that I think Sierra Hill did a great job, I thought that her writing had improved as the series developed. I do think she’s grown as a writer and I love how this book was inspiring as I know that people in real life do struggle with who they are and how they portray themselves to society but Sierra really did nail this one. I’m hoping that it’ll help people and it will show them that it’s okay to be themselves no matter what anyone else thinks.
I loved the characters and thought both Kyler and Lucas were such intriguing characters, we’ve seen them in the previous two books but it’s only been brief snippets and truthfully when I read this book I never pictured what Sierra done with this book in mind, but I did love the story that took place.
There was a couple of things that for me I would have liked to have seen in this book, for instance when the University are looking into the allegations of one of Lucas’ students and Lucas it would have been interesting to have known what the university made of what Kyler told them of his relation with Lucas. I feel it would have been great to have known the outcome of it all.
The other thing that I thought would have been great to have seen is a chapter from Lucas’ point of view as it would have been great to experience his feelings through it all because it can’t have been nice having to deal with your career jeopardy because someone doesn’t understand the meaning of being told no.
Other than that, I loved how the story was told, the characters were great and it was just an enjoyable read.
I’d recommend giving this a try as it’s a really enjoyable read and Sierra’s writing is pretty incredible.
Kyler has always been comfortable with who he is and he isn’t afraid to show it. So when he spots the one guy who has piked his interest, he’s not afraid to go after what he wants. But he realises that the guy is hiding something… But when it becomes aparant that he is interested in Kyler, they both enjoy one pure night together. With Kyler determined to go their separate ways even though he enjoyed that one night they had, Lucas isn’t prepared to give it up. But they’re both in for a shock when the first day of term starts and when Kyler sees who he has for his professor….. Lucas, he’s in pure shock. It’s clear that they both have an affect on each other, but will they give into their desires or are they set to just ignore what they feel???
