As soon as I found out that there was going to be another book in this series, I knew that I had to read it, and honestly Addison Moore didn’t disappoint. I did enjoy reading Dexter’s and Ember’s story as I did find them to be quite interesting characters, their story was completely different and not one that I expected. The angle that Addison chose to go with this book was a pretty interesting one and honestly, I am pretty glad she took it as it’s different from everything else. The one thing that I will say that I found a little distracting is that at times I found myself struggling to keep my attention whilst reading, it didn’t happen a lot but there was just something lacking that made it hard to keep my attention gripped. Other than that I think that Addison nailed it perfectly, I’m interested to see what happens next or to see if there is going to be anything else from all of the characters.
Ember has never believed in love, she has a huge heart but would much rather keep it shielded and protected than to risk giving it away and having it trompled over. She’s a good girl at heart but she does have one huge attitude that she would much rather show to everyone else, in a way it’s a mask to protect herself. The only aim she has when it comes to The Social Experiment that she ended up signing up for thanks to her friends, is that she is going to prove that she won’t fall in love instantly, however as you know things tend to go completely different than you expect them to.
