With this series it can take you in so many directions and that’s what Claire Marta has done this time, she’s written this book solely on her own and it’s interesting getting to see where her mind would go with this book. After reading it, I can tell you now that it’s going to be one emotional ride… if you’re a crier with books then you are going to need A LOT of tissues. I don’t tend to cry at books, but Claire had me ALMOST crying about 3 times in the book, but honestly this is such an emotional book that you’ll start off with your emotions all intact, but by the end they’ll be all over the place as Claire likes to have her fun.
This book takes a huge unexpected turn, but that’s what tends to happen with this series, both Claire and Summer have set it up in such a way that they can do anything with it, but that’s what I love most about this series.
You can see that with Claire writing this on her own, that her writing has improved a lot (not that it needed to because it was great to begin with), but I love how she just advances with each book she writes.
I honestly can’t fault the story, the plot was great, the fact she almost made me cry is a bonus, maybe one day she might achieve that, but we’ll have to wait and see. I loved the characters and thought that their chemistry was off the charts.
Brayan was someone that Coven needed, even though Coven didn’t realise it. I can understand the pain that Coven was experiencing and it wasn’t pleasant for him, but he does grow as a character and I love that Brayan was able to help ground him.
I’m going to say anymore as I don’t want to ruin the story for you, but I’d highly suggest you give this a read… Plus, you get to see some old faces from the previous books, and if you loved them, I doubt you want to miss out on them.
Coven is holding onto a lot of secrets and the last thing he wants is to actually go ahead and find a new Dom who will help look after him… But he is only doing this because he made a promise, he may not like it but he has no other choice.
Brayan is at Carnal Pleasures as he’s currently undercover and trying to find out if the claims about the club are actually true or false, so in order to hide what he’s truly doing he’s enlisted as a Dom there, but when the red haired guy from a few days ago catches his eyes, he can’t believe his eyes. There’s something about him that is in his eyes that comes calling to Brayan and he wants to help him so much, but with Coven being a little difficult will Brayan be able to be what he needs or even get through to him?
Coven’s secrets is eating up and him, but when they come out at a shock, how will things go down??? Will he have lost Brayan for good or is there more that meets the eye?
