I just love reading romantic comedies and I have found that Lila Monroe has talent for them, I know that there’s a lot of authors that write the same genres but most of the time they can tend to blend together, however, with Lila’s books they tend to stand out to me, just like there’s one other author who’s romantic comedies stand out to me too as they put their own twist on them. I was excited to give this book a read because I knew for a fact that if it was anything like The Chick Flick Club Series, then this would have been an incredible read. This book had everything you could ask for, amazing character development, an interesting and intriguing storyline, everything that happened within the book all added up and you could find yourself lost in the story. I just loved both Poppy and Dylan, they are both such unique characters and there’s a softer side to Dylan that not a lot of people see unless you know him personally. I couldn’t find anything to fault in this book, Lila has done another incredible job and I’m excited to see what else she can do with this series.
Poppy believes in true love, she loves helping others be able to show off their love for their partners/ special someone. But when it comes to her own love life, it doesn’t exactly seem to be going too well for her. When one of her regular clients offers to pay her an amazing amount of money, (money that could set her up in a nice cosy office that she dreams of), she has a feeling she’s way out of her league because he seems to be setting her up for something that even she isn’t sure she’ll be able to help with. Will Poppy be able to help her client out and manage to deliver on his request or is she setting herself up for failure?
