As always I never know what to expect when I pick up one of Addison Moore’s books, she knows how to throw you off guard and keeping you on your toes, which is an amazing thing as the last thing you want is to be able to predict the story before you’re even a quarter way through. This time I had no idea what to expect and even though it did take me a little while until the book had fully engrossed me, I did really enjoy it and I thought that Addison did another amazing job. The twists and turns that happen honestly shocked me as you wouldn’t of expected them to happen at all. Addison really knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seats. Seriously if you haven’t read her work, then you need to change that, this book was seriously incredible.
Charlie is running from her past, she is doing whatever she can to survive in order to be able to go back to her younger brother and sister when the time is right. So under a new identity in a new location, Charlie does her best to keep out of the way of everything, because she is so afraid of screwing everything up and risk never getting to see her brother or sister again. She had been doing well for the past year, until her roommate Gabby sets her up on a date with her boyfriend’s cousin…..
Theo has been living in hell for the past year, thanks to his sister’s disappearance.. He has no idea what happened to her or where she is or if she’s even alive. But thanks to his cousin’s girlfriend he ends up meeting Charlie…. There’s something so different about her compared to all the other girls he’s seen, but little does he know that Charlie has a small connection to his sister’s disappearance.
