I’m literally shocked beyond belief at how talented Hazel Grace is, every time I read one of her books she always leaves me stunned… the stories are just incredible and out of this world, she has such an amazing mind as I have no idea how she comes up with everything that she so carefully plans and writes. I’ve been following her since her first book and honest she just gets even more talented with each book, her writing is like Pepper Winters or Jessica Hawkins level and they are both some pretty huge and talented authors. I’m literally in love with her work and I can never get enough of it, and this time she managed to suck me and just throw so many obstacles out there that I had no idea which direction the book was going in, but I was constantly trying to guess, but would then get thrown.
I was intrigued with what was going on with Bishop as he literally took off in the first book and no one could figure out what was going on with him. So it was a shock to see what actually did happen and take place with him as he’s such a dark, broody, mysterious character. I could understand him being closed off, he’d been through a lot but then you’ve got his inner demons that he’s battling constantly and it’s heart-breaking having him go through them as all you want is for him to be happy and actually have a life of his own.
Emmy, she’s just incredible, I feel for her and just wished that sometimes she would have just made certain decisions or went ahead a different way. It’s clear how much she loves Bishop and she just doesn’t want him hurt, or to go down a dark path.
I was honestly shocked that there was even an inkling between them, but that made me love them both even more.
I loved all the twists and turns that Hazel wrote, if anything I think this might be her best book yet.
I honestly couldn’t fault it even though at times I did just want to scream for what was happening.
I’m excited to see where she takes the next book in this series as it’s been one hell of a ride and I’m just hooked.
I’d recommend giving this a read because Hazel is just an incredible writer and honestly, I think you may need her writing in your life. But that’s just my personal opinion.
With Bishop missing, Emmy took it upon herself to look after his dog, to send him daily updates and try her hardest to figure out what was going on. Even though they both tend to just argue when they’re in close proximities, she can’t help herself for wanting him, needing him. So the fact he’s not bothering with acknowledging her at all hurts her. She’s determined to see if he’s okay, but when she finds him he doesn’t want her there and pushes her away along with taking his dog back.
Emmy is the type of girl who tends to get in people’s business’ but when it comes to her own, she would much rather keep it quiet…
Soon enough the team are back together, but still things are strained between Emmy and Bishop, yet neither one of them are willing to back down and admit their feelings. With Emmy doing everything she can to try and set herself free, it’s not easy as Bishop won’t let her go as he holds the key to it all.
With them both keeping a secret from the rest of their team, things start getting a whole lot worse when Emmy ends up making the worse mistake possible, but it’s not until it’s too late that she sees what’s happening.
Will Emmy be in safe hands or will she end up in the arms of the wrong side completely??
Will either Emmy or Bishop ever man up and realise that they’re made for each other or will they keep pushing back and forcing the other higher their guards up even more than they are????
