Yet again S Lucas has written another incredible book, and I was just gripped from the very first page. It’s clear that she has a talent when it comes to writing and creating up stories when it comes to a relatively new author it’s not always that simple, yet she has managed to draw readers in with her words.
The characters are intriguing, and you get to find out more about Franklin as he was mentioned in the first book a lot considering he was Marcus’ best friend, but now that he’s in college and away from everyone he knows the test is real now. He’s a bright guy, but at the same time he doesn’t exactly think through everything.
I thought that Marley was such a strong character, she was just everything you wanted in a female lead, and I loved how S Lucas managed to capture her.
If anything, I have to say that Marley was my favourite and I just loved everything about her, if anything she made the story shine a lot more and brought out a lot in Franklin.
I loved how the story developed, it was so captivating, and you can’t help but get sucked into the story.
I’m excited to see what else happens in this series because it seems so different with each book.
Franklin is at college, having finally completed high school he’s now out in the world and able to go and chase after whatever his heart desires. Having managed to score a scholarship, he’s not needing to worry about paying for the course, but still he needs to find his own two feet considering his parents disowned him after not supporting his college choice.
When he stumbles across a flash of Red Hair, he can’t help but be intrigued, yet when he gets turned down, he’s determined to win her over because he likes the challenge.
Marley is on a mission, she’s wanting to go ahead and get a degree in Nursing, but her parents aren’t supportive of it, but having come to an arrangement that works for them all she’s at one that’s closer to them. With making sure that her course load comes first and she’s able to get by with her job at the on campus coffee shop, she can’t let anything distract her. So when Franklin tries his best to get her attention, she can’t help but make his life just that little harder…
Will Franklin be able to win her around???
