I’ve read all of the books that Shauna McDonnell has written, so when I found out that she was going to be writing under another name I was excited as I love her work, plus I never know what she’s going to write about. The plots are just that gripping that you can’t help but get sucked in, but then again Shauna knows exactly what to feed her readers.
This is completely different to her other books, but then again Shauna is just that talented when it comes to writing as it seems she just has a knack for writing any genre. No matter what she sets out to do, she always manages to outdo her previous work, she takes on board anything that she needs to work on, and then just shocks us with how she creates her next books. This one was no different and I was hooked from the very first page, I honestly had no idea what to expect, but Shauna surprised me at every turn. I thought that Liam and Rohan were pretty awesome, it’s clear that they both want the best for Saoirse, but at the same time with the way their chemistry is you can’t help but wish that they would all get together so that they ended up as a threesome/couplely thing. They all have the chemistry, the heat, the passion, it just makes sense, plus it would be incredibly hot.
I’m hoping that Shauna decides to actually make this work as I honestly think it would make it that much more tempting and juicy.
I honestly couldn’t fault the story and I loved how things progressed, Shauna is really talented and she just shines through her writing with each book.
However, all I’m going to say is you will not be prepared for the ending…. I’m still shook up about it because Shauna literally threw it at us out of nowhere. I’m interested to see how the next book will turn out because it could literally go any way.
Saoirse thought that this would be the year she wouldn’t have to move away part way through her school year and then have to resettle… with it being her final year at school, however life has different plans for her. After getting told to run and to not look back, she leaves her mom behind and heads off for the address that is listed in the box her mom told her to take. But what she doesn’t realise is that everything she’s ever known is about to change for good, and with her mom being gone, Saoirse has no idea what to do. She knows that trust has to be earned, but still she wants answers but with no one willing to give them to her, she is in more trouble than she realises.
With both Liam and Ronan wanting to protect her and wanting to claim her heart, she is torn between the two, yet still they are both holding so much back from her that she doesn’t know who she can trust.
Will Saoirse be able to figure out what happened to her mom??? Will she get the answers she needs and has been searching for or is someone set to make her life difficult????
