I’ve read quite a few of Lyssa Cole’s books and so far, she’s never failed to make me love them. If anything, I just can’t get enough of her writing. She is such a talented writer and whilst I never think she needs to improve on her writing, she ends up doing it on her own as I know she wants each book to be just as amazing as the last one. This time was no different and even though I don’t normally read motorsports books, but when I do, I can’t help but enjoy them, but Lyssa has taken a complete turn and made this book her own. Honestly, I’m so proud at how far along she’s come, she’s always ready to jump into something or tackle a genre or world that she’s never experienced, but that just makes me love her writing more.
Honestly, I’ve never read any of the books written by K. Bromberg, nor have I read any of the books from her Driven World Series, but honestly, I’m so content at just reading this book that it sets so many levels for the other books in that world. However, if you’ve read any of those books but not tried Lyssa’s work before, then I’d suggest giving this a try because it has everything you could ask for, a cocky hot sexy bad boy, a focused smart intelligent woman who is putting everyone first instead of looking out for herself, there’s the love-hate chemistry between the two, and so much more. What more could you ask for?
I loved everything in this story and I was hooked from the moment I picked up the book, I thought both Luca and Neveah are both great characters and they both don’t let the real world see their true selves, yet whilst they’re both quick to judge the other, they have a lot more in common than they both realise.
There was nothing that I found that I thought was out of place, if anything you can tell that this plot was thought out quite well and you can see the passion that Lyssa has for her stories in her writing.
I honestly can’t wait to see what else Lyssa comes up with because everything I’ve read so far, I’ve literally loved.
Neveah knows her job more than anyone, yet it doesn’t stop her brother and dad from questioning some of her choices. She’s known for bringing in the best drivers and working with them and getting the best out of them. But when she’s making the choice about offering Luca a deal with them, nearly everyone but her best friend is questioning her judgement. Luca is known as the party boy, who likes to have a good time and is constantly getting himself into some type of drama and he’s pretty much always on the front page news…
Neveah’s dad and brother aren’t sure that due to his reputation if Luca will be a great choice for their business, but Neveah is determined to prove them wrong. She understands that his reputation is a bit of an issue, but if everything works out the way she wants them too, then no one will be questioning her choices again.
However, after one meeting with Luca she decides that he’s the exact person she thought of him to be, but she’s not willing to be messed around.
Will Luca take the offer that she’s offering him or is she set to have made the wrong choice in beginning to have a little bit of faith in him????
What happens when it appears there may be more to both Luca and Neveah after just that one meeting???
