Yet again Addison Moore has brought out another awesome book and even though this is part of a side series of the 3:AM Kisses one, it’s still pretty awesome. I love that no matter what book or series we are on, Addison always makes you feel at home whilst reading these books and I love that about them, they are homely. To me I don’t think it matters how old you are when reading these books because it’s like you are in that time period with the characters, I find it awesome to be able to live the life of the characters through their eyes as honestly the storyline’s that Addison’s always comes up with are pretty amazing. As always, I was drawn in from the very first page until the last and I seriously just want more.
In this book, you get to learn all about Lexy, you meet her back in the first book and when reading that one you find her to be mysterious and just want to know more about her and why she is the way she is. This book gives you all of those juicy details and you can’t help but love Lexy for being her awesome self. There is only thing that I will say I didn’t think worked about this book and that is the big relevation of what actually went down for both Lexy and Axel to break up all those years ago. From what got all bigged up and talked about, you would honestly think that something major happened considering Lexy can’t stand Axel’s guts, but when it does finally get revealed you are left thinking that surly that can’t be it. You would have thought that it would have been something huge and shocking, but it wasn’t. For me that was the only let down, in a book when you are going to big an event up or something that is a major part to the storyline you want to shock the audience, that’s how you keep the audience from being able to predict what’s going to happen, but unfortunately for me, that wasn’t the case with this book. Other than that, I think the story worked perfectly, I do feel for Lexy all throughout the book as honestly, I think she deserves for her life to work out for her considering the amount of crap that life has just handed her.
