Seriously Hazel Grace’s talent is just incredible, you see with each book her passion for writing shining through her words. And with this book it was no exception, she did a really great job and had me hanging onto the edge of my sear the entire way through the story. The twists and curveballs that she put into this book was incredible and I love how you get to see a glimpse of what happened in the past…. It fits together with the story really well. Even though Colson is meant to be the big tough guy, you can see that he has a big heart, years ago he was afraid of damaging everything around him, but now you see a whole different side to him… Yes, he is still playing his game with Sawyer, but even that is a little different than how it used to be all those years ago. Your heart breaks for both Colson and Sawyer because of what they’ve both been through and you can’t help but want to just put them together as they suit one another…. I really can’t fault Hazel’s work or ideas, I just loved every minute of this book and can’t wait to see what she has planned with this next one. If you’ve not read her work, then you should because this author has some serious talent that you can’t help but fall in love with.
Colson and Sawyer’s story is still continuing on, but this time there’s more drama, faces from the past and a lot more games…. Sawyer is still determined to keep away from Colson, but she can’t help but keep him in her head, but she’s not prepared for all the games that they’ve been playing. In her eyes, she will or never was Colson’s and whilst she’s trying to do her best to move on it doesn’t seem to be working.
When Gavin comes back into town, they both know for a fact that this is far from being simple… For example, it was because of Gavin that they never got to be together in the first place and he’s still up to his old tricks when he’s back. However, they know that they must stick together and not let him get the better of them.
Are they going to be able to work together in order to not be hurt by old wounds or is everything set to be too much and all the tension and chemistry end up destroying both of they are working for?
