Just WOW. I seriously have no words for Erin Cawood right now. When picking up Enticing Elle, I knew for a fact that I was going to be in with such an amazing read, however, what I wasn’t expecting was to be fully thrown from my seat from the beginning until the end. As each book Erin writes, she grows stronger and that’s amazing for her because it shows that even though her books are perfect each time, there is always room to grow and make them better as she writes them. I haven’t been disappointed so far by Erin and I seriously can’t wait to see what else she has in store. The amount of twists and turns that she threw into this book was honestly shocking (but in a good way), I didn’t think that it was possible, but honestly Erin achieved perfection yet again. There are some authors out there and you just love their work automatically, however, whilst their work is pretty incredible they don’t seem to have the same effect when it comes to some others. For example, I know for a that each time I pick up one of Erin’s books, I know that by the time I get to the end I won’t be able to stop talking or even think about this book, the words and the passion that are put into each and every book is incredible. It shows that Erin has a way with words and that they can overtake your thoughts, I know that happens with me each and every time. It doesn’t mean that the other books I’ve read by other authors aren’t amazing, they just don’t seem to have that spark which makes them stand out as much as Erin’s. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you haven’t picked up any of this authors work that you do, otherwise you are really missing out.
This book is about a single mother, who works very hard at her job all hours of the day and even on the weekends. When she first had her daughter, her life turned around in the most unexpected way possible, but since then she has changed her life around and has managed to make a name of herself. At one point, she thought that her life would go one way and that she would get to live in the fairy-tale life that she had pictured at one point, but her world came crashing down and ever since she has had to watch from afar. Since then she has pretty much given up on finding love because every valentine’s day always ends up worse than the year before. Every year she gets flowers sent to her, she’s had them for the past 6 years but has no clue who is sending them. This year though is set to be completely different for a whole load of reasons, boundaries are pushed, there are secrets being kept that could potentially ruin a few people lives. What more could you ask for??? Will this year be the same as always or is some good luck being sent to Elle? I seriously hope that there will be another book after this one, I am completely hooked and need more.
