Every book that I pick up of Claire Marta’s I end up loving, as she’s got such a captivating writing style and always seems to know what the readers want. This time was no different and it’s clear that this book was something different to all of her other work. It’s got such a different feeling, but it’s one that works well for Claire. Whilst she’s not written contemporary before, it shines through her writing that she does have a knack for this genre and I honestly loved every word of what I read. I was hanging onto every word from the minute I started reading it as Claire had written this story in such a way that you couldn’t help but fall in love with it.
I loved everything about this story, it makes you feel like you’re actually in the fairy tale and following along as if you’re Everly. I loved both Colton and Everly, they just suited the story so well and they both had amazing chemistry.
Although out of all of Claire’s characters, I have to say that Colton has stolen my heart, there’s just something about him the draws you in and you can’t help but want him for yourself.
There’s nothing that I could fault in this book as everything just worked out incredible and you can see that Claire’s writing is improving with each book she writes.
I’m super excited to see what else she writes because she always manages to surprise me.
I’d recommend giving this a read because it’s so different to all of her previous work, but it’s so memorising.
Everly hates how her sister’s heart is broken, and she can’t help but go and seek out the guy that broke her heart. Little does he realise what he’s done by dumping her and what he’s left behind.
With Alice now pregnant and hurting, Everly will do anything she can to help her sister out and to also get by.
However, the night turns into a magical one considering it’s Halloween and everyone in the club is dressed up, with her being Little Red Riding Hood, she can’t help but be interested in the Big Bad Wolf from the fairy tale. However after their time together comes to an end quickly and before the big bad wolf can get her number, Everly disappears into the night.
However, he’s in for a shock when he heads to work on the Monday as the mysterious Red Riding Hood is now working at the firm he owns.
However, with them both having their own secrets will things pick up between them like they did the first night they met or are they both set for a whole different awakening???
