Honestly Rachel Caine is honestly amazing, she knows just how to grab everyone's attention as her writing style is that good. I am honestly shocked with each book as I never know where it's going to go and I applaud Rachel for that as it's not easy especially with 15 books in a series, so the fact that she has managed to pull this off is really good.
I had no idea what to expect with this next book, so I am glad that I had this book handy. Knowing that Bishop was dead and that Amelie was giving humans equality with the vampires, well you could tell that this might not have been the best idea, however considering that Amelie is in charge you know for a fact that you have to be careful of what you say and do. I'm honestly shocked every time I get further into the books and I am glad that it's been written to keep you hooked, I hope that you all feel the same way with this series as it's honestly that good.
I loved how Claire, Eve, Michael and Shane are able to go about their lives as in the past six books it's been quite hectic for them. However Claire still is having to deal with Monica who has been a pain for her ever since she came to Morganville. I won't go into much details as it would spoil it for you.
