I was looking forward to reading this book as I had done some research into it before purchasing it and I can honestly say that if you are going to read any of J.S. Cooper's books then I recommend you start with this one. Even though this is the second book in the series I preferred reading this one first and I can honestly say that I loved each and every part that I read.
Alice has pretty much had a crush on Aiden for as long as she can remember and considering that she has been best friends with his sister for a while doesn't help her crush. Now that Liv is getting married she has been seeing a lot more of Aiden, and after sharing one night with him a few years back she can't seem to get over him no matter what because of he isn't making it easy for her.
However what happened on that night they both refuse to talk about it, but they decided that it would be kept a secret. Alice wants to be able to talk about what happened as she has one never been able to find someone else who is as caring as he is and two she has never felt the pang in her heart for any other guy like she does for him.
Will Alice ever move on from Aiden or does Aiden have other ideas, honestly this is seriously such a good book and it's one to not miss. I love how Alice has been written as it really draws you into the book. Hopefully you enjoy the story as much as I have and that you'll continue to love the series.
