As soon as I got to the end of Midnight Alley all I wanted to do was dive straight into the next one and I can happily say that I'm glad I did as I'm loving every second of this series. It's safe to say that Rachel Caine has created a series that you will be addictive too, it's not like any other series. I know there is going to be people out there that disagree with this as they think that there are far more better books than this, but honestly they're wrong. This series has managed to capture mine and a lot of other people's attention, so surly there's something remarkable about this series. The only way your going to find out is by picking up this series and read it from the beginning till the end.
At the end of Midnight Alley we found out why the whole town of Morganville became quite scared and this was because The Arch Bishop turned up at the Glass house, what Claire and her roommates weren't expecting was for the Arch Bishop to turn up. After speaking with Amelie they know that they need to be careful of what they do or say in front of the Arch Bishop. However it's not that easy for Claire as for some reason he decided to bring her parents along with him, so now Claire and her roommates are scared for what he could do to them.
So now everyone has to be careful as Amelie knows that The Arch Bishop has a plan up his sleeve and that he is going to do something to jeopardise the future of Morganville forever. I love how Myrnin is still as crazy as ever but I honestly think that it's a good thing because it's not often in a book like this that you will see a character who is quite loopy but have people love him. He brings the story together even more than the other characters that are involved, I love the idea of never knowing what type of mood that he is going to be in, so that's always a bonus when reading these books.
