Lyssa Cole is seriously so talented; with each book she produces her talent shines through. I’m so proud of the journey she’s taken, and these characters have gone through a hell of a lot. I’m not a crier when it comes to books, but Lyssa had me on the verge of crying, but I held it in, but she messed with my emotions in this book…. She is pretty lethal with what she puts her characters through, but at the end of the day, they tell a story and that’s what I love about her writing. Even though Lyssa has created her own story with these characters, she’s still getting a message through with her words, and I love how creative that she gets with them each time. This book/ series will probably hit home to a lot of people, but in reality what Levi goes through in this series isn’t something to be taken lightly, if you need the help never be afraid to accept it and embrace every day as it comes by. I honestly couldn’t fault this story, I loved everything that happened and the way both Levi and Rai have both developed as characters. It’s been such a heart-breaking journey for them both, but it’s been an interesting one, and they have both grown up a lot since the first book.
If you get emotional with books, tissues are recommended because Lyssa will pull at your emotions and heart, she did with me and boy…. it was just heart-breaking reading.
It’s well worth the read, but I’d highly recommend giving this series a try because it’s just incredible.
Rai is torn between Dean and Levi… Her heart has always been with Levi, but walking away to try and let him get the help he needed was the best thing she could have done in her eyes… Now it’s months later and she’s standing in his hospital room as she’s not left his side since the accident… But now with him awake, she has no idea what is in store for her… So when he reacts badly to her being there, she has no idea what to do… Her heart is telling her to stay with him to do what she can to help him, but her mind is saying that she needs to walk away and give him the time that he needs…. With Dean lurking in the background, what will she do? Will she make the choice to leave him and try her best to help Levi with his recovery, or should she just give up with that part of her life and stick with Dean as he makes her happy???
