Every time I pick up one of Q.B. Tyler’s books, I just know that I’m going to fall in love with the book because she has a way at reaching out to her readers and this time is no different. I connected with this book quite a bit due to my own experiences and I love it when authors are able to put those little details in there that make you relate to the story that’s being told. Bennet goes through memory loss (amnesia, depending on what you prefer to call it) and I’ve been through it myself, so I was able to relate to his character quite a bit, but there’s just a slight detail that’s different in mine and his stories, but no matter what Q.B. wrote it in such a way that you couldn’t help but be so wrapped up in the story. I really did feel for both characters in this story because it’s clear from the start that they are both going through a difficult time and it’s not clear to either of them when the light will shine through at the end of the tunnel for them both. Olivia is such a strong character and manages to hold her own, and I love the sassy side to her that you get to see. Honestly, Q.B. has done an amazing job at crafting this story together that I really can’t see any faults. I can see with each book that her writing grows and improves and she should be proud of the hard work that she puts into her stories, I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. If you’ve not read this book or any of her other work, then you are seriously missing out, make sure you go ahead and give it a try now to see how incredibly talented she is.
Olivia has been going through hell for the last 6 months, but that’s nothing compared for the last two years when things started going haywire in her marriage. She literally has everything a girl could want, but the only thing missing was having a child of her own….. No matter how much she wanted it, life didn’t want to be fair to her…. Now two years later, she’s having to deal with the fall out of her marriage ending, her divorce nearly being finalised and attempting to move on from the life she has known for the last 9 years…. But everything comes to a fast paced halt when she receives that phone call informing her of Bennet in the hospital after suffering a crash….. She’s done her best to move on and live her life for the last six months, but when she receives the news that he’s lost the last two years of his memory and has no idea what’s being going on, she’s forced to make a choice of whether she can put everything aside to help him try and regain his memories back or to just walk away? Which will she make and will it end up being the right decision in the end?
