Since we was introduced to Claire, Nadia, Juliette and Steph their lives have been super busy and crazy. I was honestly shocked how the first book ended because I didn't expect that someone would stoop as low as to point out Steph's and Dominque's personal lives, however I was glad to know that they had at least given into each other.
However now that we're back to Season 2 I honestly felt sorry for Steph because even though she was willing to help Dominque sort out her career and make out that there was nothing ever between the two of them, she was still willing to put her heart on the line and end things before everything got twisted and turned the wrong way. Steph is honestly heartbroken but she won't admit it to anyone, so much that she keeps having meaningless hook-ups with random girls just to take her mind off everything.
Ever since Juliette proposed to Nadia things have been going well but even though Juliette promised her that she would start working less hours she hasn't exactly kept to it and Nadia is partially hurt by this but won't admit it. Looking back at four weeks ago to when Juliette first asked Nadia it looked set that things were going to improve for all of them including Claire and Margot but unfortunately for both of them not everything is turning out that way. Claire really does love Margot but for some reason she can't seem to put the fact that Margot slept with her ex and then chose to be with Claire, it really has hurt Claire as for weeks she wasn't doing so well. However now four weeks later and to Claire it feels like it such hard work trying to go back to how everything was before but Margot doesn't seem to understand what Claire has been through.
After Juliette's brother who she hasn't spoken to in twenty five years walks in unannounced at her office she knows that there has been an emergency and when it's revealed that it's their dad and that he's having to have open heart surgery Juliette wants nothing more to do with anything he has to say. The way that Juliette ends up coping in the end is by focusing all her energy on her work and refuses to speak to anyone, some point later Juliette comes to the conclusion to help get approved that being gay is nothing wrong at all and that everyone shouldn't push them away because of it.
Will Juliette's plan work and will it help Dominque with her career or is that just set for a downfall. How will things be between Margot and Claire, will they be able to get everything back to how it was before. And lastly will Steph be able to nurse her broken heart or will she just give up completely. I was glad that I could carry on with this series as I was enjoying it and I was deeply upset that the first book ended with a cliff-hanger. If you have already read the first one you will know how good a story this is and for those of you that haven't then you have no idea what lays ahead of you.
