Mia couldn't believe it when she found out that her Fiancé Tucker wanted to call off the whole wedding, she had been planning her wedding for months. Her wedding was meant to be the wedding of the year, but now that her day had come she was huddled up in her own room hiding away from the world.
Mia is a very smart sophisticated women, who always liked to plan a head and have a million lists written up, she also runs her own wedding planning company with Coco.
With the help of her two best friends Coco and Erin they convince her that she should still take the trip to Paris as even though it was meant for her and Tucker, somehow they manage to get her to agree with the threat that if she doesn't go then they will happily call her mother back saying that she isn't doing so well.
Mia arrives in Paris and is slowly starting to get used to the independence that she is experiencing and it all seems to be going so well up until she bumps into people who are happily in love. So deciding that she will go back home tomorrow she heads to a small restaurant that's tucked away quite nicely and decides to order herself a glass of wine, but what she wasn't expecting was to meet someone who would happily give her their own opinion and set people straight when they saw the need too. By the end of the night after Mia has drowned her sorrows in quite a few glasses of wine, she agrees to go sight seeing the next day with the bar man as he is trying to convince her that she should stay and enjoy herself.
The next day she meets the Lucas at the hotel and even though she tries her hardest to not be so in control of everything Lucas can't help but wind her up about it. They both spend the day getting to know each other but for some reason Mia can't work out why she feels like she can tell Lucas everything and not seem to be bothered by what he has to say. They both make arrangements to meet the next day so that Lucas can show her more to what there is in Paris, but she is starting to notice that she seems to want him in more ways that she originally thought, at first she thinks it could be to do with the fact it's most likely rebound but after a talk with Coco she can't help but think that she can have some fun as it's not going to hurt anyone.
Mia can't contain anymore how much she wants to touch him and feel his skin against hers so when they have an opportunity she takes it, she is having way too much fun so when Lucas suggests that she come with him to his brother's wedding party over at his stepfather's wine yard she goes for it. This is where Lucas reveals more about himself and what he's looking at and when he mentions that he doesn't want to get married and have a family it literally breaks Mia inside as she looking for the exact opposite.
Will Mia be able to change Lucas's mind before she ends up leaving to go home or will she be set for more heartache. Also will Mia take the advice of her best friend or will she keep everything to herself and how well will it be when Tucker decides to show up at the last minute declaring his love for her. Trust me I fell in love with this series as it has touched a place in my heart. I was excited to learn that there was more books in this series as I honestly couldn't put this book down until I had finished reading it. The way it was written is truly amazing and I am glad I have had the opportunity to read this story. I would recommend a lot of people to read this series.
