Now I'm pretty sure that after you read the first book in this series that you all formed you're own opinion. I for one can say that I thought that this was an amazing series that gives all Vampire books a new meaning.
Ever since Rose and Lissa came back to the Academy it's been getting a bit too much for Rose as she keeps on slipping into Lissa's mind and keeps seeing what's going on when she is with her boyfriend Christian. Other than that Rose has some serious guy issues considering the one guy that she does like is into someone else and then her best mate Mason has a huge crush on her and isn't afraid to show her his feelings. Even though she tries her hardest to push her feelings for Dimitri aside she can't help but feel sad considering she is on her own most of the time.
After a near by Strigoi attack put's the Academy on high alert considering it was so close to them, the Academy end up going on a skiing holiday for Christmas considering that it would be the best option and also there is more security for the students. However even though the Guardians are thinking of ways to help protect the Moroi race, Rose tries her hardest to become helpful in her own way but after accidently giving out information that could put some students in danger it's up to her and Christian to help save them. Will Rose ever learn to keep her mouth closed when it needs to be or will the other students be in more danger than they actually realise.
Trust me when I say that you don't want to miss this as there is a lot more to come. you won't be sorry that you took a chance with this series.
