When you look at the cover of this book, you get so many different emotions and honestly it just makes you wish you could stand either on a peaceful beach or at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean and forget all about everything that’s happening. I love that just from the one look at the cover it does so much to you but it does draw you in too and you can’t help but be curious as to what the tale is that lies beyond the pages.
When I was reading through this, I couldn’t help but get the beach feel or the fact that I just wanted to be part of the small community that lived within the village. Sara Ohlin has done a great job at making you feel as if you’re part of the story as you read through and I loved how it was well thought out and planned carefully.
To me, Sara is a new author and I’m honestly glad that I was able to discover her writing, it’s clear that she has a passion for writing and that there’s a little of her in the book. She’s made it just that little bit more personal and it’s got such a different feel or vibe to other books that are in the same genre or based around small communities alongside the beach.
It’s clear that this series is very close to her heart and I’m beyond thrilled that I’m able to discover what happens and just fall in love with the tale that’s told.
I loved everything in this book, it was easy to follow, the characters were so intriguing that you can’t help but love them. In a way, the book made me feel at home and it’s been a while since I’ve discovered a book that made me feel like that.
I’m so excited to see what else happens in this series, as it’s clear there’s so much more to tell and it’s only just really began. I don’t know what Sara plans on doing, but I know for a fact that I’ll enjoy every minute of it.
I’d recommend giving this book a try as it honestly does put you at ease and allows you to forget what’s happening in life and you’re able to relax for a few hours.
Cruz never expected to come back home to his family farm for a good while, and the only way he knew for sure that he would come back would be when his father passed… Due to years of neglect and abuse from him, he thought he was finally free once he was no longer around to hurt him or anyone else. However… when Miranda turns up out of the blue (in his eyes), he has no idea how much damage his father has done. It’s not only until Miranda mentions that he could be set to lose the entire farm and business unless he helps her in achieving to audit the entire business.
They both know that no matter what nothing is going to be easy and it’s clear that Cruz’s father is still trying to send messages beyond the grave and to also get the last one in, but will Miranda be able to help save Cruz’s family business and farm or did his father make sure that he was set to lose everything?
What happens when it’s clear there’s a spark between both Miranda and Cruz??? Will they both be open to exploring something or are they both too scared of their pasts to even attempt anything???
