I had no idea what Jessica Wayne had in store for Eria and Fearghas with this book and that was mainly due to the fact I was still in shock from the book before, and honestly the way that she wrote this one was incredible. She threw me off with so many events that took place and I was incredibly surprised when I saw that she’d brought Anastasia and Dakota into it from a previous series. I love it when an author brings back past characters and make sure that their stories all intertwine and I couldn’t have expected a better two series to bring together, so I’m incredibly proud at what Jessica has achieved with this book.
All I wanted from this book was for things to work out for both Fearghas and Eria because they truly did belong together, but if you’ve read one of Jessica’s books then you’ll know by now that she doesn’t exactly be nice to her characters, if anything she likes to torture them just a little before allowing anything good to happen. And that’s exactly what happened with this book, but still with how she wrote it, everything just flowed together so perfectly.
I honestly had no idea what the outcome would be but I was just gripped from the very beginning, I can’t fault anything that happened because it made everything tie in together.
With each book it seems that Jessica’s talent for writing just gets stronger and stronger, but she doesn’t even need to improve on anything, it just naturally happens.
I think this story is the perfect way to describe and close out what goes on with Eria and Fearghas, they both needed some form of closure and a way to finally be free of all the obsticales surrounding them.
I’d highly recommend giving this a read, if you love Fearghas then you’ll want to see how his story is finalised, plus Jessica’s words grips you in.
Fearghas has been in love with Eria for so long now, that finally when he’s ready to go all in, Eria turns it back so that it seems like she’s been playing with his heart. Yet now there’s even more at stake because now Fearghas is a dark fae, Sheelin has blood bound herself to Eria just to spite Fearghas oh and deal with the fact that the veil has been closed off. Nothing seems to be getting easier for any of them, but with needing to find a way to solve everything, it seems that time is running out for them all.
Fearghas is so close to losing his soul and being corrupted for good, but will the others find out if there’s a way to help him in time or are things just set to get even worse for them all???
When it becomes apparent that if they kill Sheelin, then it will result in Eria also being killed, will they be able to put a stop to Sheelin’s madness or will they all end up losing out????
