I always look forward when I get to jump back into the universe that surrounds Whitney Briggs, but that’s only because the way that Addison Moore has built up the series has just been amazing and you can’t help but just fall in love with in once you step inside. Yet again, Addison has done an amazing job and has written such an amazing story, you can’t help but fall in love with characters as they are just so likeable. I found myself not wanting to put the book down, it was just so easy to follow. This is the series that made me fall in love with Addison’s work and I know for a fact that I’ll never get tired of reading the books in this series, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. Seriously, if you’ve not started this series it’s well worth it, plus it doesn’t matter what order you read them in, just make sure you start somewhere and hopefully you’ll fall in love with them too.
Out of all the other books in this series this book took a completely different turn, when you just start getting into it, you can already tell it’s so different than all the others. If anything, it gives off a kind of mysterious vibe, but I do love that because with this book it fitted in with the plot really well. It had you guessing the entire time and I seriously loved that about it.
Serena is a sweet girl, but once her mouth opens you better step back and watch yourself…. One wrong move and she’ll be all over you and telling you how it is. She had to grow up and do things in ways in which you’d never think of a child going through, but at the end of the day it made her stronger and a whole of a lot better person. There’s always been a tension between her and Shep (Shepard) for quite some time, yet for some reason it seems that she can’t seem to stop seeing the guy. All it took was one unfortunate accident to take place and it seems like she can’t get rid of the guy, but will they draw closer together or will it tear them apart for good.
