It’s amazing getting to be back in the Cloverleigh Farms world, but this time we’re there for a whole new reason… Melanie Harlow has decided to hit it out of the park when it comes to this series and the fact that we’re now so many years later and the children that were featured in the earlier books are now all grown up, but what makes this even better is that characters from Melanie’s others series were featured and it was incredible getting to catch up.
I really did feel for Winnie when she was younger because before Frannie came into her and her sisters lives they didn’t exactly have a mom figure and I love that Frannie had a good influence on them. So now that she’s all grown up it’s interesting getting to see how her life has turned out and honestly, I’m impressed, she’s done well for herself but at the same time you can’t help but wish that she could find happiness for herself and not get treated like dirt by guys. I thought she was an amazing girl and thought she’d grown as a person amazingly; Melanie did a great job at writing Winnie’s story.
If I’m being honest, I never thought that Melanie would actually come back and carry-on books with the children, but I’m so glad that we got the chance to experience this.
I’m excited to see who else she plans writing about because with the way things are going, there’s going to be a lot to catch up on considering there’s more kids than there was in the first books.
I thought overall the plot was pretty incredible, you had the drama, the heat, the passion, even the one character who just needed to be put in their place a little, but still it worked out great and I loved every second of it.
If you loved the previous books, then you don’t want to miss out on this because it gives you insights to how everyone is and what is going on with them all now.
Winnie has blossomed into an incredible young girl, she’s got an incredible family who give her nothing but support, a great job working at the family business, but the only thing missing is that special someone.
Every time she thinks she’s found the one, she ends up getting her heart broken, which is why at this current time she’s sworn off men… However, with her best friend Ellie constantly onto her about losing the bet they made, Winnie’s life just gets better as she’s got a hot new muscley guy moving in next door to her.
She honestly can’t believe her luck, but when it’s clear something is there, but she refuses to let her mind and heart control how she does things, she knows it’s only going to be for so long.
Will Winnie be able to keep her promise of swearing off men, or is Dex set to ruin it all for her??
What happens when Dex makes a pass at her? Will she jump his bones or will Dex realise he shouldn’t because to him she’s just barely into adulthood?
With sparks flying, will they both get what they want out of life???
