It’s been a little while since I full on loved one of Melanie Harlow’s books and I have to say that with this book she did a great job with it. If anything, out of the three books in this series, this one would be the one that I relate to more. This book flowed really well and I enjoyed all of the elements in the story, it was easy to follow and the plot was incredible. The only thing I will say that I would of liked to have happen more is that in the first chapter you’re introduced Dottie Jensen and she was a right hoot, I would of loved to have seen her more in the book because it’s clear that whilst she’s a little crazy, she’s harmless and it’s clear Noah has built up some sort of bond with her. Other than that, I really couldn’t fault it at all, and honestly it’s well worth the read.
Noah and Meg have known each other for years, there’s never been anything physical between them, but they’ve got that type of friendship that they can go months without speaking to each other or seeing one another but then they can talk to each other as if nothing has happened. Meg is due to come home in a few days as it’s her youngest sister’s wedding, but before she’s even getting thing prepared she’s dealt with a huge shock from her boyfriend of 3 years…… With him leaving her and her blaming herself, she decides that she’s going to put herself first for once and decides to go home the next day and shock everyone. The person she’s most happy to see is Noah and as it’s been 3 years since they last saw each other there’s a lot to catch up on, but after asking the one question which questions their entire past, will things ever be the same?
