After reading Love At First Fight, I was intrigued to see if Carrie Aarons would write any more books about the other characters because they were honestly so interesting and you can’t help but want more from them. I love that the characters were talking in Carrie’s mind because now we have another book and we get to head back to Molly, Smith, Campbell, Heather and the rest of the gang and get to see how things have developed and honestly it was such an incredible story. Carrie did a great job at writing this two years on from the previous book and I loved how everything flowed really well and it all tied in together as if time hadn’t passed at all.
Carrie really is a talented writer and I just love each of her books, she always writes books that always reach out to you and that you end up loving the characters, and this one was no different, I thought Campbell was such an amazing guy and that Heather should have at least hear him out instead of just dismissing everything that he had to say. Not only did Campbell have a lot that he needed to learn, but so did Heather and I think that over the course of the book, they both seemed to grow as people. Don’t get me wrong, at certain points I wanted to shout at the two of them as they didn’t realise the grave danger that they could be in and if anything it would have been best to have their friends rallied around them, but still they managed to make that up in other aspects.
I honestly couldn’t fault the book and I loved how Carrie wrote everything, I hope that she plans on writing more books to follow on so we get to know how things are for the rest of them.
I’d recommend giving this book a try as you may end up discovering a new book you’ll love or a new author even.
Things were going well for both Heather and Campbell, and it looked like things were going to be moving forward, that was until he ended up double booking and left Heather heartbroken.
Now two years later, she’s in for a shock when she finds out that she’s going to be spending her summer in the Hamptons with Campbell, as she’s not forgiven him for what happened between them.
What Campbell doesn’t know is that Heather is going through such a horrific ordeal and that things in her last relationship didn’t exactly end well, which is why she’s hiding away for the summer. With wanting to make things right with her, he does his best to try and make amends, so when Heather decides to speak to him and forgive him, will they be able to call a truce????
What happens when Heather’s ex turns up, will she be in real danger this time????
