No matter what book I read of Emma Hart’s, I always know that I’m going to be laughing all the way through due to one crazy family member, I’m going to end up swooning over the main character and overall just end up loving the book. Yet again, Emma has done another amazing job, I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this book because after reading Halley’s story, I wanted to see what else was in store for the other two best friends. This time we get to read about Reagan’s life and her story is an interesting one. She has the most strangest way of meeting Noah, but the rest of the story that follows is pretty incredible. I can’t fault anything about this book, I still think that Halley’s story the best by far, but it happens in series sometimes, the first book always tends to be the favourite even though the rest are amazing and that’s the case with this series. I think Emma did an amazing job with the story and the characters and I just love Reagans Aunt, she is a hoot. I’m super excited to read Ava’s story as from this and the first book, she seems to be the one that has the most drama surrounding her. I would highly recommend that you give this series a try, you don’t have to read them in order as they are all standalones, but for the best reading experience I would highly recommend that you start with the first book.
Reagan is a lovely girl, one who will speak her mind freely, will say it as it is, has the best of friends, a some-what normalish family, an amazing job which she loves and will end up inheriting half of it later on in life. What more could she ask for?
Reagans start to the week starts off as no other, first with receiving a *lovely* picture in the middle of the night, after having a pleasant conversation with the guy who sent the picture to the wrong number, Reagan takes it lightly and they continue exchanging messages. Everything seems normalish by the end of the week… Her friends think she’s crazy for continuing talking to the guy even though Reagan hasn’t given her name away or where she lives, so she’s got no expectations in mind. However, when her apartment building ends up being on fire and she discovers she’s lost her home and everything inside, things take a complicated turn….. She made a promise to herself during the fire that if she ever got out alive then she would track down picture guy and ask him out…. Little does she realise that the guy who rescued her from her building was no other than picture guy. She’s got no idea what to do, no idea where she’s going to live and most of all she has no idea what she’s going to do about picture guy…. Will she manage to get things sorted before her crazy Aunt drives her insane?
