I’m seriously running out of words to describe Hazel Kelly’s work, yet again she has written such an amazing, captivating book, that you just get swept right into the story. I wanted it to carry on, but as always amazing books have to come to an end somewhere. I honestly don’t think that I’ll ever tire of reading anything written by Hazel as she knows how to bring her stories together, I love that you get to hear about characters from other books and that they all intertwine in some way. Each story is different so you never really know what to expect from Hazel, but I know for a fact that she never disappoints.
Margot has always had feelings for Landon (her brother’s best friend) for as long as she can remember, however, whilst she’s tried show Landon what he’s missing or attempting to get him to fall for her, she doesn’t seem to be having as much luck. All that she knows is she won’t give up on him, despite already having a glimpse as to how amazing he is, she is determined to make sure that they end up together. Little does she know that Landon actually has the same feelings for her as she does for him, but he is too stubborn to allow anything to happen considering he appreciates all that her family has done for him since growing up.
They haven’t seen each other in quite a while so you’d think that they’re feelings would have gone away, but that is the exact opposite of what happened. They meet again at Margot’s brother’s wedding, they both get the shock of their lives as they both can’t stop staring at each other and they realise that their feelings for each other are still there but stronger. Yet this is only the beginning for them, as Landon goes ahead and gets her an interview at his marketing firm…..
I honestly want to say more about this book, but I just can’t without giving the story away. I just hope that you pick up this book and give it a read for yourself, I’m looking forward to what else Hazel writes.
