If you’ve read Frenemies by Emma Hart, then you should remember Hannah being mentioned as she’s Immy’s cousin… Anyways, this book is based on her and I honestly though that Emma did a great job with this. Yet again you get the pleasure of reading about their grandma Jen, she is one character who is pretty hilarious and entertaining. I don’t think Emma could have done anything else with her, but she does also give character to the story even though this is all about Hannah. Reading Hannah’s story this time was enjoyable but also quite intriguing as back when you read Immy’s book, Hannah gives off this strong character vibe where she’s not afraid of anything and can be quite sassy. However, in this book she’s a different character altogether, don’t get me wrong she still can be sassy but you see a side of her where she’s quite insecure and isn’t really sure on things. It was an interesting read but I did thoroughly enjoy it. I was laughing most of the way through, but that was mainly due her Grandma Jen’s antics, but then again sometimes when reading books you need that one character who’s not afraid of anything and will happily say and do as she pleases even if it offends people. I really do think Emma did a great job, I couldn’t find anything to fault, the story was great and so were the characters. I would highly recommend that anyone who’s not read this book to give it a try as it’s well worth the read.
Hannah has been looking after a kitten she found out on her doorstep, but whilst she’s not a cat lover, she’s been doing everything she can to look after it even though she keeps saying it’s not hers…. But baring in mind she’s named it Lucifer, so anyone would think it’s hers now.
With nothing else going on in her life, her friends end up daring her to text her number neighbour, and the last thing she expected was to actually end up having fun with it so that she would end up sexting him for a few days… that is until Lucifer needs urgent medical attention, so she runs next door to her hot British neighbour to get his help as he’s a vet, but she has no idea what she’s about to be in for…. When Isaac tells her to give the vets a call in the morning to check up on Lucifer, he gives her his number but it’s not until she heads home and goes to add it into her phone that the number looks familiar…. It turns out the last few days she’s been sexting her neighbour… What doesn’t help her is that she’s had a major crush on him for ages, but she’s freaking out about what he’ll do when he realises she’s his number neighbour too…. Will things stay normal or are things set to get intense for the both of them???
