I was honestly scared to pick this book up because after the ending of the book before I had no idea what Addison Moore was going to throw at us…. She is cruel when it comes to cliffhangers (but I do still love them). Following on with this book, she did another amazing job and you can’t help but love the characters. Although, the only thing I will say is that I want to actually hit both Noah and Essex because even though they both want to be with Lottie, they refuse to have an actual conversation about everything, instead they just end up tormenting each other and fighting over her all the time. For me, I just wish that they both would put everything aside and realise how amazing Lottie is or better yet just see that they are all made to be together. I still want to punch Cormack, she really needs to get it into her head that she is not liked by Noah and that she has no chance of ever being with him, but for some reason she still enjoys all the mind games she’s playing on Lottie.
I don’t know how Addison manages to create these books, but she is doing such a great job with this series, the list of how she can develop with this series is endless. I actually can’t wait to see what she has planned next, but I know that for sure it’ll be amazingly sweet goodness. If you’ve not checked out this series yet, I highly recommend that you do…. Addison does not disappoint.
Lottie is working away at making sure there’s enough pancakes for the biggest All-You-Can- Eat Pancake breakfast which takes place at the Firestation every year and whilst things are going smoothly for everyone, for her it’s a whole nother story. Everything that could go wrong, pretty much has and to make matters worse, Noah’s not talking to her after the whole revelation last month…. So as you can see she’s having a whale of a time. Although, when she see’s the ghost of her Father, she knows that there’s set to be another dead body and she’ll be the one to find it….. When she has the choice of either solving the case or to keep her Father, what will she chose?
