This is the final book in Cassidy Summers’ Slayer Academy Series and you can bet quite a lot on the fact that this book has so much going on and that Cassidy has pulled out all the stops to make this book incredible. I honestly can’t believe that the series is over as I have enjoyed reading it so much and think that Cassidy has done an incredible job. I thought that from the first book she had talent, but as I’ve read each book, her talent has just grown even more. This is an author who’s work deserves to be read by pretty much anyone as it’s that amazing. I’m so lucky that I have been able to give this series a read because it is one of my favourites by far. With each book as I’ve read through them, I have seen how passionate Cassidy is when it comes to writing and I love that it flows through. I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite out of all three, as they are all equally amazing. The plot, the storyline and the characters were just perfect and I just love Rylan, he is so swoonworthy it’s unreal. This book really does test Bianca’s strength and mind completely, and it’s amazing to see the journey she’s been on. I think Cassidy did a great job at capturing it all and by growing her character. I am going to miss this series and the characters a lot, it’s like I’ve grown up with them, but I’m hoping that maybe one day in the near future Cassidy writes more for Bianca.
I recommend that if you’ve not given this series a read, that you do because it’s well worth the read and Cassidy is one talented author…. You are seriously missing out.
Bianca thought that this year was going to be an amazing one, she’s been waiting for this year for as long as she can remember and what started off as an amazing year, has somehow turned into a living nightmare….. Whilst she managed to succeed at her midterms at the Academy she also managed to gain celebrity status…. And whilst this is an amazing thing, The Guard Officials have also seen the same thing, but instead of being proud of what someone her generation has achiebed they’ve decided to take away her future and instead of working toward graduation like the rest of her friends would be, they’ve taken her away from the Academy, away from her friends/ family and most of all…. Rylan.
With only being with The Guard Officials for two and a half months, she is going crazy, instead of being able to train, they are using her so that she can study stuff she already knows only to then have her to go around other Academies being their ‘Poster Girl’ so that they can encourage other young girls to consider a future in Combat Training. Will she keep at it even though it’s making her life hell and making her become ill? Or will she figure a way to get out of there and back into the Academy so that she can graduate with the other when the time comes?
