Since the beginning both Claire Marta and Nia Farrell have kept me hooked on this series, with each book they write they always seem to be throwing more out there to keep the element of surprise coming. With this book they have done the same again, but it’s getting more and more intense. A lot happens in this book and you’re introduced to things that weren’t in the others, but the way Claire and Nia have done this is honestly amazing… they’ve put a lot of thought into the process and it’s worked out for them in such a good way. The entire way through I honestly thought that the story would go certain ways, so when that didn’t happen, honestly I was shocked at how both Claire and Nia left me guessing because the way they did things were not what you were expecting.
I was hooked from the beginning and I loved the dynamics between all the characters, I’m super excited to keep reading the series as I know that both Claire and Nia have more tricks up their sleeves and they’re bound to be cruel when it comes to reading them.
I honestly couldn’t fault this, and I would highly recommend giving it a read because this is one series that is unforgettable… plus, both Claire and Nia are very talented.
Raven has been through a lot, and now that she’s essentially free to do as she pleases, she has to be careful because she has a 5-year-old daughter and she is her pride and joy. Thinking that everything she went through is over she goes ahead and does an interview with a potential client (she’s a midwife), but when she gets there she’s surprised to see Casey is the client as the last time she saw her she had red long hair and was working undercover…. With questions burning inside of her she isn’t sure if she should take on Casey as her client….. that is until she meets Cayden and Killian.
With wanting to keep her daughter safe from harm, she has no idea that everything she has ever known is about to change… whether it’s for the good is another story.
Will Raven be able to handle everything that is thrown her way, will she be able to keep her daughter safe??
Will Cayden and Killian be able to convince Raven that it’s safe there at the Citadel for them all???? And what will Raven do when both Cayden and Killian take an interest in her, will she let them have their ways or will she stick with her pact of being sworn off all men????
